BAKER CITY: Arrested after suspected Meth found

Oregon State Police in Baker County arrested a Baker City man recently after reports of a suspicious person walking along I-84. According to reports a vehicle was located and occupied with two stranded motorists. They were given a ride and the driver was located walking near milepost 315 outside of Baker City. The driver, 52-year-old Paul Lloyd Niehaus was found to have an active warrant issued out of Ada County, Idaho. The warrant was confirmed and Niehaus was arrested. A search of his jacket revealed approximately one ounce of suspected Meth. Niehaus was transported and lodged in the Baker County Jail.
