Motorists traveling on Highway 82 between Enterprise and Joseph may notice some extra snow left on the roadway after it is plowed. The highway between these two communities received a $2 million dollar pavement upgrade this past summer, including a chip seal. With the improvement, scraping of plow blades will be avoided since it will damage the new surface. Special risers called shoes are attached to the plows to keep them about an inch off the highway. Drivers need to pay special attention to this area since there will be snow or ice left on that section of the highway.
