BAKER CITY: Stolen vehicle recovered, man arrested

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE BAKER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT:

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED IN BAKER CITY

On November 12, 2019, Baker County Dispatch received a report of a stolen vehicle. Joseph Hill reported that his 2001 Dodge Ram was stolen from his residence. A deputy was dispatched to the residence and took a report.

On November 26, 2019, at approximately 11:49 p.m., the stolen vehicle was located by Baker City Police Department officers at the storage units at 10 David Eccles Road in Baker City. Sgt. Craig Rilee, with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, arrived on scene and seized the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, numerous stolen items were located.

After an initial investigation, deputies went to the residence of Aaron Dale Duvall (DOB 8/25/90) at 2210 Colorado Place in Baker City. Duvall was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass II, and Probation Violation.
