UNION COUNTY: Hit-and-run, driver fled on foot

The Union County Sheriff’s Office responded early this morning (Tuesday, September 10, 2019) to a single-car hit and run on Mt Glen Road. The vehicle ran off the road, causing extensive damage to a fence. None of the three occupants from Pendleton claimed injury, however, the alleged driver fled on foot. The driver was caught up with several hours later and arrested by deputies for Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver and for a parole violation warrant. No names at this time of the driver or the occupants have been released.
