BAKER CITY: Trailblazers visit for a rally

TRAILBLAZERS AND MODA TO VISIT BAKER CITY ON SEPTEMBER 9 FOR SEVENTH ANNUAL RIP CITY RALLY

WHAT The Portland Trail Blazers and Moda are excited to bring the seventh annual Rip City Rally to Baker City on Monday, September 9. A team of Trail Blazers and Moda ambassadors and staff will embark on a week-long journey from September 9-13 around the state of Oregon, engaging with Trail Blazers fans all along the way. This event brings Oregon communities together with energy and enthusiasm to showcase the Trail Blazers as “Oregon’s Team.”
An entire day of events is scheduled in each city along the route. As part of the Trail Blazers’ and Moda’s partnership to showcase healthy and active living, events will focus on providing activities for kids, including school assemblies, youth basketball PE takeovers, career panels, on-court youth basketball activations at the Rip City Fair, and more. The visit in each city along the route will conclude with a gift presentation with city officials, followed by the Rip City Fair, a free community fair from 4-6 p.m. featuring activities for all ages.
Trail Blazers personalities and Moda representatives will also activate the communities in La Grande (September 10), Hermiston (September 11), The Dalles (September 12), and Sandy (September 13).

WHERE Gift Presentation with City Officials – Main Street between Washington and Court Trail Blazers and Moda representatives tip off the Rip City Rally with opening ceremonies.
Rip City Fair – Main Street between Washington and Court Fans are invited to this free community fair from 4-6 p.m. featuring fun for the whole family, including the opportunity to interact and play basketball with Trail Blazers personalities, take photos with the 1977 NBA Championship trophy, and win game tickets and other prizes.
