A Milton-Freewater man was sentenced Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court following his arrest in February on drug-related charges.
Dylan R. McQueen, 26, was sentenced to prison for 24 months for possession of heroin, 12 months for conspiracy to deliver heroin, and 12 months for conspiracy to deliver suboxone. According to Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney Jim Nagle, McQueen’s sentences are to run concurrently with a drive-by shooting case he was sentenced for last month that occurred in August 2018.
Nagle also provided updates Monday on two other cases. The first involves Tisha Place, 30, of Walla Walla. She was scheduled to be sentenced today after being charged in a connection with a string of burglaries last October in Walla Walla. Nagle said her sentencing has been continued for two weeks because her drug offender sentencing alternative evaluation report has not been completed.
Sentencing for Gustavo Ramirez Meza, 42, of College Place has also been continued for two weeks. Meza was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and introducing contraband to the Washington State Penitentiary where he was employed. Nagle explained the reason for continuance is because Meza has hired new defense counsel.
