GRANT COUNTY: Missing person found sitting in ditch

UPDATE:

Grant County Emergency Communications logs show that at approximately 12:11 a.m. yesterday, a cell phone call came into 9-1-1 reporting a missing person. The location listed is 25333 Hwy 395S, and the responding agency was the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer, an individual with dementia had wandered out and was found sitting in a ditch along the highway. The Sheriff said the subject was conscious, somewhat hypothermic and transported to the hospital.

Little information is known about a missing person call late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Grant County Emergency Communications logs show that at approximately 12:11 a.m. yesterday, a cell phone call came into 9-1-1 reporting a missing person. The location listed is 25333 Hwy 395S, and the responding agency was the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Nothing further was released. We’ll follow up with more information as it is obtained.
